2020 Rodeo Postponed

April 1, 2020

Since 1981, the Colorado Gay Rodeo Association has been proud supporters of our community by elevating the image of women and men in the sport of rodeo all while promoting the country western lifestyle. we are proud of our history and know when we must do the right thing for our community.

As a not-for-profit entity on the state of Colorado, we rely on the contributions of our community to help us achieve our goals and mission.

With the ongoing pandemic within our community, state, and country, the Board of Directors has made the tough decision to postpone the Rocky Mountain Regional Rodeo 38 until July 2021. This decision was not easy. With the uncertainty of this pandemic, we came to the reality that we could not put the well being, both physical and financial, of our competitors, spectators, and sponsors at risk.

During this tough time, we will be refocusing our energy back to the community that has sponsored us for the past 39 years. We will be there for other organizations, businesses, and members of the community in various ways.

Sincerely,

Carolyn Herbert President Colorado Gay Rodeo Association

Christopher Tobin Rodeo Director Rocky Mountain Regional Rodeo 38
